Small pea plants flowering

I'm a complete beginner at growing veg and the site has been great help. I've got some sugar snap peas growing and they're about 1ft high but they're starting to flower already. Is this normal, I thought they might grow a lot taller before they start this? martyo, , Posted: 29/06/2009

They normally grow much taller before flowering but the warm dry weather may have triggered early flowering. They may carry just a very small crop. Sow some more seeds  to follow.
