radish leaves being eaten

The leaves of my radishes- sown May 10th- are being eaten. They are in a raised bed(18ins) & there doesnt appear to be any slugs in it. Emerging beetroot leaves also being eaten. Cause? Remedy? lovethebees, Mullingar, Co Westmeath Posted: 22/06/2011

This is probably snail damage, done at night and you should probably be able to see shiny slime trails. They often shelter nearby.
