Spinach plants

I planted some strong spinach plants, but they have all gone to seed very early, what is the reason for this? ROYSTON, NEWPORT GWENT, Outside Ireland Posted: 07/07/2009

Spincah is notorious for bolting, due to any set-back, such as transplanting or variable weather. This crop needs to be sown where it is to crop and careful thinnned out, and watered.
