Fungal growth on stone paths

I have some " fungal" growth on my stone pathways. These areas tend to be be very wet. What is it and how can I get rid of it. It's very prolific and returns very quickly when removed. Darrachbeo, Boher, Co Limerick Posted: 29/09/2016

This is algae and can appear in  damp time. Apply bleach or some masonry algicide.
