Transplanting foxglove

Is it possible to transplant foxgloves into my hedge row? It would be similar environment. They are just starting to lose their flowers now. The same applies for some beautiful ferns and primroses? evelyn1979, fermoy , Co Cork Posted: 08/07/2017

It is very difficult to move established plants successfully into the dry soil  of a hedge.

If you can raise small transplants, planted in October, there is some chance.

Remember it is illegal to remove plants from the 'wild'.
