Wild flower

While walking by Carlingford Lough I came across this singular plant. It was growing in thick undergrowth and seemed out of place on its own. Could you please identify it for me? Picture attached. Aidev, Blackrock, Co Louth Posted: 11/07/2017

 This is evening primrose, Oenothera biennis, native to America, a garden escape here.
