Griselinia hedging and ground preparation

Going planting griselinia hedging - any general advice re planting , depth , spacing and ground preparation including compost , soils and feed. James martin, Ennis, Co Clare Posted: 07/11/2017

It does best closer to the coast.

Plant about 50 to 60cm apart, in good soil, not too wet in winter, in good light.

No need for feed or compost at planting in good fertile soil, but feed in spring with general fertiliser if growth is slow after one year.

Plant to the depth of the soil mark on the stem.

Keep free of weeds!
