When to plant potted roses ?

I bought potted David Austin English roses a few months ago but never got around to planting them. Is it possible to plant them now and how far apart should i plant them ? springmind, Dublin, Co Dublin Posted: 18/01/2012

From pots, roses can be planted at any time, but winter and spring are good.

They vary in size and use ... some are bush types and others are shrubs or climbers.

Bushes can be about 75 to 90cm apart and the others are planted as single plants in a border or on a wall, but at least two metres apart.
