Hello everyone, I am new on this site, I grow some runner beans in containers, they are growing very well, lots of leaves and beautiful red little flowers, all very healthy looking, but they just don’t set pods. I have done a research online. The compost if good, all my other veg plants are growing very well. the weather is good this year, I diluted some sodium hydroxide with water and watered the plant once just to make sure the soil is in basic condition. I fertilise the soil with organic seaweed with water once every week. In the hot weather, I water them every evening or every second evening. I just do not understand why there is no beans. I also grow some peas in the same compost and I got lots beans already. I hope you can help me with the problem. Many thanks
