Jacinta Jacinta 20 April 2011 20:33:37

Don't think I have ever had the pleasure of hearing a cuckoo.

rosburke rosburke 20 April 2011 21:17:41

have not heard the cuckoo yet this year,

fran m fran m 20 April 2011 21:29:39

Only heard one a couple of times, you never forget the sound.

Periwinkle Periwinkle 20 April 2011 21:38:10

Im waiting patiently to hear the cuckoo for the first time this year. Summer would not be the same without it. Like the arrival of the swallows.

Moya Moya 20 April 2011 22:26:06

I can't believe I have heard it twice already this year in Donegal! I agree with you John it is a lovely sounds - lifts the heart.
