The Garden at Night.

Well its been a long while since i have been here no excuses just busy between one thing and another anyway just thaught i would show a few photos of the garden at night spent two days putting in the lighting which are worked on light sensors so they come onn at dusk and go off at dawn.

Hi John that lighting looks great. I was looking at your garden pictures and you seem to have a piece of Heaven on your hill. The garden looks so interesting and I look forward to seeing more pictures.

Thank you all for the kind comments and yes the aubrieta is looking very good again this year cut it right back in the Autumn done it a world of good.

The Cuckoo

I heard the Cuckoo today the first time in many years,what a beautiful sound brought me back to when I was much younger and used to hear the Cuckoo regulary.

Im waiting patiently to hear the cuckoo for the first time this year. Summer would not be the same without it. Like the arrival of the swallows.

My Home Town.

Just a few photos of my home town (village) where i spent all my life,I was lucky enough to have been chairman of Bellewstown tidy towns for abour 10 years and have been involved in the landscaping and planting of the local area,its great to see everything maturing now and to see what a difference it makes to a locality,I have a lot more photos which I took at the beginning of each project and will add them at a later stage.

You always know Spring is really here when the aubretia is in full flower and this year is no exception it has delivered the goods again this year with lovely sunshine to help it on its way.
