I began this garden from scratch in May '10. The picture on the right was taken two months later. Not bad going, eh?
My garden experienced a min of -7C during the 2010/11 winter which is very low for here. I lost a lot of plants so my garden will look very different this year. Lets hope we go back to having the mild winters we had gotten so used to.

Blarney Meet this Saturday! :-)))
Hi everyone, I've been very quiet on here lately. Spreading myself a bit too thinly as usual and doing work on my garden in between. But...
..I'm really looking forward to catching up with those who are coming to Blarney on Saturday. It's been a while since I was there and I can't wait to see all the new additions and changes, as well as all the plants that will be in bloom this time of year.
We're very lucky in that our own garden.ie member Blarney Castle, AKA head gardener Adam Whitbourn, will be giving us the tour. The weather is forecast to be nice, but with the the weather being so mixed lately, it'd be best to bring a brolly just in case.
