photo problems

one of the reasons i gave up on making entries esp photos was all the problems i had with uploading, and again its happening. hope this photo in the journal goes up ok. men at work in the woodland garden. only 4 weeks till open weekend at the wellbeing garden.

I've had some problems too - often I can only upload 2 photos on a journal entry, not 3. I usually leave it and come back later. It's intermittent so not a huge deal for me.

greenfort last sat

its so long since ive been on, i hardly remembered my password...well summer started last week...yeah... or so the weather man told me. anyway im out when i can, mostly on my hunkers (thats my knees, fran) to avoid getting my head blown off by northeast winds. despite this i have had a fantastic display of daffs, snowdrops, tulips, fritillary, muscari and the aubretia & honesty are on turbo with shades of purple and lilacs. the tulips steal the show just now, with groups of reds, purples, yellows and a few mixed up batches of various colour. thank god for the rain over the past few weeks. its hard to poke delicate little heads up through cement..

thanks for comments. moya greenfort is on the donegal garden trail. fabulous place.we had our wedding photos taken there 28 yrs ago. my article in the tribune was loosely based on greenfort and trees etc.

you,ve heard of "snow in summer", well what about hail in summer. i got a shower of hail yest as i was planting in the new "woodland garden".

Thought about it and would really love to go you are in for such a treat Evelyn Carl Wright gave a talk on one of the days of our course with Jimi last year and he was inspirational so passionate about his plants and wonderful photography. I wonder is there any places left?

moya, muddyboots are registered with rhsi, and get info on a regular basis about events, garden visits etc. you could look up their site from time to time. most things are down south, but this event happened to suit me.

Evelyn I had trouble uploading photos and I realised that they have to be in JPEG form..if thats any help...dont ask me ....but anyway sometimes I find if the site is too busy they wont upload. So now I just Firefox to upload on the journal. They will upload onto the photos page no problem otherwise...hope that helps!
