Grasses ID
I Like this bit of planting in the garden - Did not get a great pic but could you help me with the Id of the two grasses thanks

hi it's hard to tell from the picture but i think the one at the front is calamagrostis carl foerster the one at the back looks like a miscanthus but i'm only guessing.
beautiful grasses, not so good with the names.
Lovely combination of colour. Sorry dont know anything about grasses.
Damo thanks for that the one at the front is not calamagrostis KF as I have this elsewhere in the garden and it is much taller. I will try and get closer up pictures of each one to get an ID. Scrubber I only get on the site late at night when I should be tucked up in bed - It is a small bit addictive
Mary, I think the grass in the front may be a Molinia of some type. I will try and get the full name tomorrow for you.
Are the fonds a burgundy colour from a distance?
