Mr Middleton and the Missing Bulbs

I submitted an online query some days ago and this morning received a call from Mr Middleton. When the nice lady enquired as to my order number she exclaimed "  that's not Mr Middleton that's Heritage Bulbs !" When I asked who looks after Heritsge bulbs she replied " well we do " seriously folks Iam still wondering ...... anyhow the bulbs Iam assured will he with me late this week or maybe next week !!! Never again . Four weeks to effect a small order ? They either need more staff or a more efficient operating method .My account was debited the cash on the 27 Aug too !

Holy Moly, I never knew they looked after both. We learn something every day. Heritage Bulbs left me short of some Alliums last autumn and I'm expecting them any day now. Fingers crossed. Maybe I should remind them.

Declan that is a dreadful service and you would think when you order early in the season you would have no problems. I still have not received my order form Avon Bulbs, but at least the account was not debited.  I would think that you will have them by the end of the week.

Yes its a bit much to take your money without sending on the bulbs. I didnt know thwy did heritage bulbs either, Hope they bloom brilliantly for you.

When I placed my order with Heritage Bulbs by phone in mid-August, they made it clear that the bulbs would be dispatched in September as they were awaiting stock to come in from the Netherlands, which they do in order to have fresh good quality bulbs for customers.  That's no problem for me as I only ordered tulips for planting in late October/November, though perhaps they should state this clearly in their catalogue for anyone ordering September planting bulbs.  I paid by credit card and the charge was not on the statement received last week.  I hope your bulbs do arrive within the week Delcan, happy planting when you get them!
