No time for sitting and relaxing today..........well not for Jimmy until he had a few plants moved for me.

Ive had my Camillia, all three of them, in pots for the past 4 years and really wanted to have them planted up. So yesterday was D-Day. I got Jimmy to dig the holes and replant them for me. Trying NOT to trample on all the other plants. ( honestly I had to zip it so many times!!!!)

Anyway job done and I'm delighted that I finally have them planted and I'm sure they should do really well in their new homes.

It is good to get them out into the soil where they should romp off. It is difficult to plant out large shrubs when you have other plants in the border, but they will soon recover from any damage. I love the pink flowers against the green wall.

They look happy there already and will take off like a shot once they settle in. I always feel shrubs look better in the ground but I know it isn't always possible.

Looks like you already have peat moss around them, Jackie, but they will certainly need some iron every year, in the area where you live.

Lovely planting areas Jackie and I'm sure your camellias will settle in well.

The white camellia is beautiful Jackie, well done to Jimmy. The hubbies are the unsung heroes of the garden ;)
