Delighted to see you back again Dick. Thought you had abandoned us. I don't do fb or any other such like. Tell us all about your tomatoes and grapes. I suppose you are picking them both by now. My tomatoes have not even germinated yet.

Welcome back, Dick! Really annoying trying to get things like that sorted, but at least it's done now.

Dick Dick 09 February 2017 22:25:22

Thanks, Hazel, Joan and Peter. Now Peter I havent gone that far but the tomato plants are potted up since the end of January. They are Alicante, a variety that can go down early in January. I got some tomato seeds from my sister Nora in Castlebar, four varieties. They went down late in January and tey too are well advanced. Thanks Heather. Well I hope you all enjoyed the get together in Johnstown. i missed it again like last year but I only drive short distances now. Isn't it awful we have no programme on RTE on gardening. Shame on them.

Welcome back, Dick. Looking forward to hearing all the news. I think we can give up on RTE producing any garden programmes. However, it won't be to long before Super Gardener is back giving us all nightmares.

Dick Dick 10 February 2017 12:56:46

Thanks Mary. Im sure you and Paddy are busy at the garden. It is quite cold here. You mention Super Garden. Sure it is not a gardening programme at all. But there is RTE for you with soaps, dancing on Sunday evening and holidays abroad.

Go raibh maith agat A Mhaire and Jacky. As I mentioned the tomatoes have made great progress. I also got 100+ roses pruned. It was generally mild up to a week ago but as it has got cold I have done very little in the garden.Isn't it great however the stretch in the days.
