Well, to day , or was it yesterday, the Autumnal Equinox, equal day and night. However the temperature was a bit higher than a week ago. I decided to turn on the central heating, at the time but no heat. Then I decided to contact the man who would service the boiler. Later, I felt that I should put down the dip stick into the tank ach mo lean, bhi se beagnach folamh.(It was almost empty). I got in 1000 litres of oil, then a service and would you believe, it is a bit on the warmer side now. However, I can expect no more growth in the tomatoes so they were removed  to day. Now as time goes on, we can expect a drop in temperature before long, so the Musa, banana, plants will go in soon. Perhaps Peter W may let me know how he thinks. As you see I have only a small amount of tomatoes. The yield was low this year.
