poor weather

27 March 2009 20:53:07
The weather fooled us. It gave us a good week, spuring us into action, planting seedlings and preparing beds. I was going to rotavate the garden, but i decided this was the lazy way and I would dig It over instead. There is more satisfaction from this and It is nice to lean on the spade and watch the robin have a feast in the freshly dug clay. I hope to open the drills next week, put down dung, place the spuds on top and raise the drill. hopefully the weather will be good to me. When I have the spuds in, it frees up time to deal with the cabbages, cauli's, carrots and all the rest of the vegs. Here's wishing for good weather.

Give me the lazy way any day! I hate digging but do love watching the robins.

hindsight is a great thing, I think I'll take the easy way the next time. Though when it is done there is a great feeling of satisfaction.
