planting

hi everyone

tomorrow i will be planting the four circles, i have loads to plant and then i am going to a birthday dinner for my mum. she is 60 today, she would kill me if she knew i put it on site.

over the weekend i will put up pictures of the planting results. i still have to tackle the jungle that was a hedge row, that job is for saturday. the weed fabric will be put down and stone will follow when the funds are available.

well thats it for now

I doubt your mum would kill you, maybe give out a bit.  Best wishes to her on her 60th.  I'm sure she is very happy to  get to that milestone as I know I will be my next birthday when I'm 60.  Absolutly nothing to be ashamed of.  Good luck and good health to her.

We always save the biggest jobs for Saturdays and end up finishing them on Sunday sometimes, I know we are not supposed to work on Sundays but when you're doing something in the garden it never really seems like work,does it, and you get such a feeling of satisfaction when its done. My mam celebrates her 83rd birthday on 27th June and is still a keen gardener so tell your mum she's only a kid still.Looking forward to the party Ivor!!!:-)

my god fair play to your mum, you never loose you love of gardening, hopefully i will be still around and gardening at 83. or even 60.
