hi everyone

was as happy as a child in a sweet shop today when i found some cana rhizones. they will be potted up tomorrow along with my dahlias and more seed sowing. i was very disappointed when i went to lidl and found that all the nursery pots were gone. he said they lasted no length and there are no more in any of the galway stores, i was just looking for two. well i got some more seeds sown yesturday, so very happy with that, will get some more done tomorrow, i have alot of flower seeds to save money and not have to buy any bedding plants or any other plants in the garden centre.

i was delighted to see lidl have a great selection of summer bulbs next thursday so i will be a busy girl.

well thats it for now

happy gardening everyone

Tropicanna is a beauty. Sure to enhance anyone's garden. I spotted some babies on my ones in the greenhouse today.

according to the should be in a sheltered sunny spot, this is my first time i tried them so any advice would be appreciated, carol klein had hers out in the garden so that what i am going by. these will be in the patio and will be moved indoors in the winter. does the foliage stay for the winter? or does it die back. i am trying loads of new seeds and bulbs this year along with the regulars so any advice will be fantastic

They need a sheltered sunny spot in summer and over wintering in the glasshouse. I suggest that the one you bought be potted up and kept in there also til all threats of frost have passed.  Foliage dies away for the winter.  Hope this helps
