Are they both male plants?

Did you ever have berries before?

Either you have a male tree or

you have a female tree which has not been pollinated by nearby male trees.

the picture above is silver queen( male)  and the one in the second picture is golden king (female). i never had berries so i am wondering are they too far a way from each other, now that i think of it that could be the problem. might have to get a another one of golden king or simular

Ten feet isn't all that far, perhaps your plants were mislabelled and you've two males?

i checked on the bbc plant finder conrad and the two varieties are a male and a female, that used to comfuse me about the ilex because of the opposite name to variety, i will check the leaf again but as far as i know i have the male and female, my father in law bought them for us years ago as a house warming present

Maybe have a look at the small flowers in spring to see which they are, here's a link showing the difference.
