I think I would have started to harden off the Helleborus as soon as I got it. I wouldn't be keeping it in the house. It's a hardy plant. Lovely to see it opening already though.

Mild weather in store for us this week, so it would be a good time.

You're going great guns with all the seed sowing.

jemo what will you be up to in the corner LOL or is it case of been sent to the naughty corner like a bold boy

Dick Dick 18 December 2011 20:14:55

Looks great Michelle, the Helleborus is hardy and as Jacinta said the weather is getting mild again. you could harden it over the next few days, put it out in the morning, take it in at night and eventually you can leave it out. It will do well in partial shade.

Yes its amazing how such a delicate looking flower can shrug ff the coldest weather. as Dick says theres softer weather coming so it might get out for christmas. This time next week two little cherubs will be introducing themselves to the real Cherub who has assured me he will take them under his wing. The grandchildren are going to unveil them on christmas day and it will be my first time really seeing them (Cherubs!)together! Wot larks!
