while out shopping thursday i picked up my diary for 2012. i made great use of my diary this year so i have something to refer to in the future and can compare what i did and will do on different dates will be fun. so looking forward to getting stuck in to the garden after christmas, need to buy a new spade and boy will it get lots of use. maybe santa will throw some magic dust at my back

Kitty, the discipline of keeping a diary is very important...the past can be a great reference for the future.

absolutely jemo, i have been a good girl and wrote in everything gardening into it so i have a reference, then i have a planning book as well for the raised veg beds so that i know what i am doing.

That's what I call being very organised.  I got a gift of a garden diary from Clare (Clara) which I plan to use this year.  The problem is I can't write on a book - I will have to photocopy up some of the pages out of it.

i got this one for just under a fiver in a express spar and then you could save your garden diary. i got a carol klein journal and i keep that, wont write on it
