did nothing

07 September 2009 20:29:55

hi everyone is it me or is it hard to get the energy to do anything lately, i seriously need energy, i did nothing much today, had intended to do the pots with bulbs,i needed to put more holes in the pots for plenty of drainage for the bulbs, discovered the drill had"nt charged so that ended that, lost all interest in doing anything, took a look around the garden and seen the mountain of stuff to be done and no energy to do it.

spotted the aster that alison gave me,broken so i brought the broken bit in and dipped it in rooting powder and stuck it in a pot, it has a small bit of root but not enough of root to establish itself. i staked it and left it in a sheltered spot to grow on big and strong.

attacked the attic yesturday after falling asleep for 3hrs, got alot sorted but not finished.

well thats it for now, this rain is so depressing and mood lowering, dave have you booked a holiday yet for us all(the garden.ie people)

happy gardening

OK, I am thinking drills, being a sort of DIYer and then the next thing I read is that you are dipping the broken bit in rooting powder and sticking it in a pot. Um, must be senility creeping over me! Could not get my head round someone planting a broken drill bit!! It will probably be a 50mm hardened concrete bit by next year. :)

Yea Kitty, its the weather that has us all so lethargic. I felt a bit like that after work today. Maybe it was a godsend that it started to rain when I got home. It gave me the excuse of NOT having to do much in the garden.

Sometimes it feels positively sinful to do nothing ..enjoy ..those days are few and far between

ha ha labourer, had to read that comment a few times and then i though this guy is a bit mixed up.hee hee. it would take the world of rooting powder to get a drill bit to root. i felt that way today jacinta, i was actully thinking the same when it started to rain, if it stayed dry and i didnt do anything i would feel even worse than i do now. rotten.

Kitty I think the change over of the weather to being so cold has an effect on some people  I work in a Pharmacy and the amount of people coming in for something for tiredness I usually offer them a good high dose of vit. C and a about 10 drps of Euhineca in it, it is quiet a plesent drink The vit. C comes in effervescent  tablets so try and take some, it is also  boosts your immune system
