Yummy! Can I join you for lunch! No preparation here for Sunday lunch. Spent too long in garden! But enjoyed it, such a great day. Glad you were able to get so much done too..

Looks delicious. I have the urge. Pity I don't have the rhubarb.

Some amount of work you got done John. I would be ashamed to tell you what time I got up at lol !!! I love rhubarb, its never the same from the shop yours looks delicious, would be nice in a crumble with custard (mouth starting to water here) :O)

Can't wait until my rhubarb yields so much.

Thanks Gismo.Nothing beats home grown Rhubarb for sure.The leaves [im sure you know] from the Rhubarb [Rheum rhaponticum] are never eaten,as they are a member of the night shade family and poison.

Your Rhubarb will do well Mairin.What i found a great boost to them here was that once established,to give them a top dressing of general purpose fert in early spring,and every autumn i mulch the crowns with a layer of some well rotted manure for nourishment.This also helps keep the weeds down.

Thanks Fran.My pastry making skills im afraid would be a little under the weather.I have no problem finding a cook for the Rhubarb though,with 4 of my 7 sisters very fond of baking.
