Damp weather spoils this evenings plans.

Nasturtium [Tropaeolum majus] added.

Damp weather is back winning again,and also cold into the bargain.With mention of -2 in places tonight,this ids more like winter weather.Plans for this evening in the vegetable garden and the main flower bed were abandoned.The only move allowed make before the rain was to add some more herbs to the main bed.More vegetables are ready and will be added without fail tomorrow evening.[If wet weather does not attack again].The herbs used so far are made up from,Nasturtium [Tropaeolum majus] Mint [Mentha] Nettles [Urtica] and Chives[ Allium schoenoprasum].Room has been made already for those four,and when all other tubs are filled,if space is available then some more herbs will be added.

Off down to the vegetable garden in a short while to cover all areas with double papers tonight.Frost is given,and all that can be done is hope for the the best.All new herbs added to the main flower bed will also be covered.Time will be spent in the tunnel later,even if only for about 20 minutes.
