Wow,what a sweetcorn!!!

Thanks Liga.Once the sun is there with a member of the warm season crops such as Sweet corn [Zea mays] all goes to plan.

Looking good John, my sweetcorn is Bonsai compared to that.

All looking well John. I'll have to try growing some sweetcorn next year if i get the chance.

I was just about to ask if that was sweetcorn until I saw Liga's comment.  Mine is Bonsai compared to that too.  What is the secret?

One of the old favourites Mairin [Incredible F,],thanks. As i mentioned to Fran only for the tunnel and the help of sunshine all would be different.I prepare the area in winter,use some old compost and have the filling ready to move if needed.The Sweet corn [ Zea mays] need a good start.All will be in seperate pots from day one.Sweet corn like some other vegetables hate being moved on,if the root system is touched.Some will be lucky and recover but lose a lot of time..
