Trench composting plan for over winter..
The compost heaps are almost full up,and now it is time to call on the trench composting in other areas.Where the legumes will be placed in the coming year, have some of the beds there used for this type of composting.Just used as a handy alternative to the main heaps,for kitchen wastes,old stalks etc,during winter.Each time a layer is down,then some clay is to go on top,before the next layer of compost.When full then it will be left ready for new plants,
