Weather on the better side for us.

Time to start scrubbing canes later this week.

Finally the weather is a little on ourside with the temperatures up today.We can survive the light damp spells.The tunnel will have a visit later on this evening,no matter what time it takes.

I had planned to spend between about 5.30 and 7 there this evening but that will have to wait until later.At lunchtime today the tunnel and greenhouse were opened for a short while to allow some clear air.

At 8 this evening i will be off to play cards and see if some luck will be with me.Now that we are on the winning side of weather,who knows i might win there later.

Was 11c on the car when coming in at 9:30 pm big difference from -11 and lower 2weeks ago.

Thats a lot of scrubbing John, I throw them in the bath with a bit of bleach, bit of a wask with a pot scrubber then rinse and stand on their ends in the bath for an hour to dry, job done in 1/4 time it used to take me in the garden with a bucket:-)but I'm sure you have this task (like all other gardening tasks) down to a fine art.

Thanks Wellie.I do try to make sure no insects etc have decided to hide in them.The power hose was used and both ends dipped.You also clean them well yourself.Never fear an odd insect will call to us.
