Young Spinach 2011.[Tetragonia]

Spinach [Tetragonia]

Some people like this vegetable and some do not.The seeds will keep quite well and with a little luck,they should last up on 3 to 4 years.They germinate in app 12-14 days.Seeds will be started in module trays.Can be chanced and moved on[pricked out],but they prefer to be in a single section each.Not to fussy about having to get the roots disturbed.They will go down through successional sowing,every 3-4 weeks.

I like young spinach as a salad vegetable. Do you have any experience of Spinach in a polytunnel?

I reckon it would more likely to bolt in a pollytunnel. Have to sow some now for the allotment John.

I thought as much, Drumnagh. Spinach is one of those crops that never works for me. It either gets riddled with slugs or it bolts.

I think spinch can be sowed now in beds,polytunels,they not afraid of colds,so do not have to be problems.
