What a washout today.

Study time this evening [thanks to our weather friend.]

Poor weather was all that we had earlier on the cards.Nothing  touched,in the garden today. The only job that had to be done was to lift up some of the small blown over, flower tubs caused by a slight wind problem. As we fast approach the end of July, one wonders will their ever be a decent change in the poor spell of weather.Plans to finish cutting the grass and some of the usual jobs are on hold until tomorrow.Even then it is not looking good weather wise.Lights on earlier than expected.Time to look through some garden notes, and could maybe even find out how to banish rain along the way.

Same here, the only thing I did today in the garden was pick up a couple of pots that fell. The wind is also getting stronger at the moment... Hard to believe that yesterday was such a beautiful day!

That is for sure Claire. From one extreme to another.Perfect one day and a washout the next. The wind i fear, wont stop without some kind of damage.

Same with me. We were traveling from Wexford to Kilkenny and from Kilkenny to Dublin today. Pelted down and hopped off the car. Shocking windy too. Thankfully, I wasn't driving.

Weather atrocious even this morning, I am sitting here in the dining room in my flipflops and my feet are actually cold. August? Hmph! More like february. Looks like today will be as bad as yesterday.

Will it ever run out of the hatred rain Mairin. With this type of weather, and we in summer [supposed to be] what are we to expect for winter.A complete washout..

Another winters morning. The cold in the air is most noticable Jacinta. The months are gone haywire. The sun has come out in the last few minutes.Where was it all day when it was wanted most of all.Behind the clouds with the winds giving an odd reminder.

It actually turned out to be an OK day in the end. Ok Very cloudy but it heated up when the sun was out and not too many showers.
