I know it is lavatera but the full name im afraid not.
Again the seeds were given to me.Could i get its full name and is it hard to save its seeds in autumn.
Lovely mallow John...
Nice plant, John. I don't know much about lavateras but maybe it's Lavatera cretica or Lavatera arborea.
sorry John im not that familar with them, i like it though.
I love it. I have two but not the same. Mine are 'Barnsley' but they don't have that stripe effect.
John this may be the end of a beautiful friendship but I am fairly sure its tha tree mallow Lavatera Arborea related to common mallow but much stronger stem. Its a wild flower but one that I always welcome into my garden. I have had it for years butnever thought of saving the seed a s it returns each year.
I have one very similar that is Mallow Lavatera, John.
Lovely Lavatera john- I have two different kinds myself- it's one of those plant you look out at and think " isn't that just lovely" :)
Thank you all.I can write its name in the list. When asked about the lovely pink flowers,i will be happy to say its name as The tree mallow Lavatera arborea. Thanks again.
