Cut and come again lettuce [salad bowl]

Lettuce [Salad Bowl] for 2009.

Happy with this years supply of another of my vegetable friends,the lettuce.For many weeks just by regular picking of the cut and come again leaves from the salad bowl type i supplied the house with plenty of lettuce just from a few tubs.In parts of the garden i used another type with the companion planting but  as lettuce does not have to stick to rotation it came in real handy for filling areas after lifting veg from other beds.Had my usual early morning walk down the garden around 8 am a little later than planned to see how the winter food supply was coming on with this spell of real poor weather.Has brightened in to a nice sunny day so i wont complain.We had a good win in the first round of the Lenister club football c-ship yesterday.Hope to go to look around some gardens after lunch.
