Maybe it's time for me to take out my painting again. And paint flowers like the pictures you will be hanging up to cheer yourself up. Good photo.

hi john.at the way things is going i think the only answer is a bigger polytunnel. one to cover all the garden.

Sun is shining down here in Clare at the moment - hard to believe that storm and more rain on the way. We have escaped the worst of the flooding though. Going out now while I can so over and out till later!

I was told you have problems with flooding, but I didn't realise it is all aroun? the country.

Sun is now shining in Kells. Very windy still !!! May as well stay in and read as I dont think anyone will get anything done in the garden this weekend.

Jacinta,[thanks] could you paint me a cover to keep off the rain from the garden.

Your right there Paul,the bigger polytunnel would solve a lot of problems weather wise.

AitAlainn,hope all went to plan there.The weather was great for about two houre after noon,now a return almost to our usual supply of rain.

Olga,we are only a drop in the ocean compared to a lot more serious areas in other parts off Ireland.

Monica,it was a washout here for the first half of the day.The beds got a great soaking.A few good hours after lunch with a little sunshine,but like you mention not looking the best for the rest of the weekend to do some gardening.

Great picture John. Were any of the houses below you flooded? I think you are breeding slugs Ha Ha. You talked about an indian summer, thats wishful thinking!!!

Oh, wouldn't it make you sick if you were a gardener and the gardener flooded?  Thought not bearable.

Thanks Mary,The lower end were.I think and hope for an Indian summer in the not to distant future.

Mairin,it sure would.I know we are only a drop in the ocean compared to other counties with the damage they have.To see ridges full of water i walked by at lunch time today in the garden is unthinkable.
