Garden shed clean up this evening,.

Garden shed clean up this evening,.

Not before time the final clean up was done with the garden shed. The fridge-freezer [second hand] added earlier in the week had all the remaining frozen garden veg moved out to it this evening. The fridge section will be used to store seed for me.All veg, herb, and fruit seed along with the saved seed will be stored in the fridge part.My lawn mower seed will be stored in the freezer part to take off well with the sudden change in temp at sowing time in the new year. The covering around the new house fridge freezer will be a welcome mat on the ground for me over the next while.Later on i will give the book room a much needed tidy up again.Looking like we will be in for another visit from frost later.

A great job, so organised and tidy. Well done!

Hey John, its beginning to look as well stocked as Mr Middletons. Well done. Great idea about the covering from the new fridge freezer as your mat. Once your feet are warm, so, usually, is the rest of you. Very welcome addition in the depths of winter.

There's a man not afraid to show his shed!

Johnplotman Johnplotman 02 December 2009 22:51:29

Thanks you all,

Liga, the fridge is almost full with seeds in different areas there.Hopefully if i get to save some more seed that will be the limit for it.

Jacinta,i might need that light to chase around the garden during the night to find slugs. If im lucky i might get to cross over some.

Lìga Lìga 04 December 2009 07:09:19

Almost full!!!Where you gana sow them all.I have shoes box full with them, and i thinkig where i will put them all:))

LindaB LindaB 04 December 2009 12:26:05

You could have a garden.ie get together in there, so neat, must show the photos to my hubby maybe he could do the same with his garage!!!!

Johnplotman Johnplotman 04 December 2009 21:35:14

Liga it will take a lot to fill it.All seed are in sections, some more than others.Veg,herbs, fruits, and flowers.I would want some size of a garden to fill it all. They will not be mixed up for me so the job wont be held up at sowing time.I could maybe hold some cool water there in case of a massive heatwave during the summer.

Johnplotman Johnplotman 04 December 2009 21:38:43

Maybe sometime Cooper.[thanks]The plants might even like the tune of it also.

Mairin Mairin 05 December 2009 01:56:11

I am impressed - with (a) the size of the shed (b) the way it is laid out and (c) how well organised it is.  Hats off to you!
