Winter cabbage for 2010.
Unable to get any outdoor work done in the garden this evening.No complaints about the day for this time of year.Looking back through garden notes taken from earlier in the year,one good rule i learned when growing cabbage,especially at the transplant stage is that they should be planted so firmly that when the edge of one of the leaves is taken hold of by your thumb and finger,the piece of leaf could be pulled off without pulling out the very young plant from the ground.Always be firm with the young cabbage seedlings.Back to the seed room to start some broad beans.
