More vicious weather.

Weather with the [heather]

Another cruel start to the the New Year with the weather hitting -5 in the greenhouse and the roads like a sheet of glass.With the start of the new year been our annual family gathering day for years,that plan could be changed a little with the state of the roads.Nothing planned today for the garden but any spare time will be spent having a quick glimse at a vegetable book.Intentions to spend a few earlie hours in the garden have been put off to another day.Weather wins again.Reading Jacintas journal about feeding the birds and on Frans journal doing similar i best go and feed our featherd friends here also,espesially with the state of the weather.

John, my plans for the area at back of shed have collapsed also. Have not been on the roads, and no intention of trying either. Pity about your get together. Plans no matter how well made and laid, need mother natures permission, guess we both forgot to ask !!!!!!!!

Not going anywhare it is so cold we live at the bottom of a hill I do not think it would be smart to try and get up it

All plans will be back on track soon Fran.Here six members of the family managed to travel today to get here so not so bad [thanks] Hopefully mother nature will bring lots of sunshine when it will be most wanted.

That is for sure Myrtle.The roads are in a serious state with the weather.Apart from a little sunshine and a very slight up with the temp,overall another very poor day.

You are right for sure Clara.It would be some job to chance getting the better of the hill with this weather.
