End of a perfect day!

I had a lovely 'day out' with a friend today!
After a wet night the morning dawned bright and sunny and warm, perfect for garden visiting!
Last Saturday morning on Radio Ulster's Gardener's Corner they announced the Opening of Tattykeel Garden under the Ulster Garden Scheme but unfortunately, I wasn't free to visit then.
This morning I made a phonecall to be assured that we would be welcome at Tattykeel, so my friend and I headed to Omagh! First we had a look around some shops and enjoyed a nice lunch before heading out the A5 towards Belfast. After a few minutes and about 2 miles we found Tattykeel and were made most welcome by the owners.
Wow! What an imaculate garden! Well kept lawns with perfected trimmed edges and curving borders beautifully planted trees, shrubs and perennials. A great collection of Hostas that have been well guarded from slugs. Then there is a water garden with a Japanese theme, a beautiful and peaceful part of the garden where one could hide out with a good book for hours! Though the gardener said she never seemed to do that, and I could understand why!!
After a look in the art and craft gallery we enjoyed tea and home-baking. If any of you are in that area do try to fit in a visit to this lovely place.
Then were were off to visit gardening friends nearby, where, although they were just back from holidays, we were welcomed with open arms and given a tour of their lovely garden and more tea in the garden in warm sunshine where we enjoyed each others company once more. Now that's my idea of a perfect day out!
Put up some pics of Tattykeel garden, sorry I missed taking any of the water garden - too busy talking!:)
