All my lilies are in pots and most of them are over now, the rain battering them sent them on their way quickly this year. This is one that is in full bloom at the moment.
Lovely one. Altamont Gardens said it's been a dreadful year for lilies.
That one definitely has a touch of 'summer freshness' about it. Very, very nice.
That paleish gold colour is very nice Id like to partner it as Andy i think does with blue cornflowers!

I have just come in to look something up on laptop for hubby and of course got diverted to garden.ie! But I have just done a brave thing and a difficult job so glad of the sit down! I had a big clump of blue aconitum which got mildew each year and always ended up looking bad. But Scrubber you almost made me regret my ruthless moment (half hour) by mentioning cornflowers with the lilys. I always used to place the pot beside the aconitums and the two colours were great together:( However job done, onwards and upwards!

aw thats a beauty, mine are just starting to come out now would you believe.
Beautiful colour of Lily Myrtle - pity about the aconitum it has been one of the stand out plants for me in the border this year
