Flutter-bys and Doctor leaves

Its so great for the kids to be able to play in the garden without their Wellies on!  What a beautiful day. There were moments of panic when we realised a mouse had drowned in the paddling pool, and when the two boys were stung by nettles at the same time. But with some 'doctor' leaves applied quickly all was well, and they were running around again. It was as if the sun gave them extra energy like the butterfly, or should I say Flutterby, pictured. Wish the same could be said for me but I did absolutely no gardening - too busy enjoying the sunshine!

Gorgeous! Poor kids being stung. But they usually bounce back and forget all their woes. God bless them.

Hi Alison thanks for message - settled on a sedum for that plant. One of mine a bit suspect tonight high temperature and runny nose all day - 4 confirmed cases of swine flu now in the school could be trouble ahead!! Glad you enjoyed the sunny day once I got home from work we went picking blackberries and Roisin made smoothies with them banana and yogurt we drank them outside watching the sun going down lovely

Oh, I feel their pain - nettle stings are shocking.  We had a relation who have arthritis and he would walk though nettles to ease the arthritis pains.
