Pink Marshmallow or not...

Pink Marshmallow or not...

Rachel,

I think this one is pink marshmallow but not 100% sure.  this one belonged to my mother and she knew every one of her plants and never labelled anything.  That is not the case with me.  Have to label or its forgotten.

Whatever they are, they look good enough to eat. Wow, I hope my fuchsias last that long. I'm thinking of trying to grow a standard fuchsia next year (if my current ones come through the winter in a cold greenhouse). Would you recommend a particular variety for that or would that not be your thing?

I have a really good Fuchsia catalogue and yes , Rita, going by the picture I'd say that's Pink Marshmallow. Rachel, they say Royal Velvet would make an excellent standard - lovely picture of it! You could google 'fuchsias grown as standards' - you'd see the pictures then.

certainly is rachel. have trained several standards very successfully but when they were blown over repeatedly I sort of lost interest in them tho they are still ok but needing tlc. One of them 'Love's reward' died at the head last winter. i just cut off its head and now I have a pillar!! its interesting...

thank you Sally for that. Think I will put a label on now that I know definitely

Thanks, Sally. It looks gorgeous. I've made a note of the variety. I have a little list where I make note of things (mostly seeds) I want to get. I might have a go at training a standard next year.
