A little bit done............. lots to do

A little bit done............. lots to do

Grabbing a half hour here and there to try keep some shape on the garden. Tackled the dirty corner and put down some plastic and stone chips to brighten it up. Then repotted one of my Rhodendron's into one of the giant flower pots I have. It looks lovely and there was even enough of the rope light in the garden to put around it so it looks lovely at night time.

My dad shared some of the bulbs and wildflower mix he got this year as he knew I wasnt going to be buying too much. I have to admit they are not long gone into the ground and some of them had sprouted oops !!!

I decided to concentrate on my sunflowers this year, have planted for types including Kong. They all came up which was great, I have some in the back long flower bed and a few out the front between the front door and bay window.

The hedging is coming along nicely. I am half thinking of getting in someone for an hour or two to do a big weed and clean up on the garden and then I might be able to keep on top of things. The pond area is like a wildlife sanctuary at the moment with nettles and dock leaves.

Good to see you are keeping busy, both inside and out. Welcome back, kiddo. Enjoy the summer. And most of all, enjoy your little princess! They grow up too quickly.

Nice to hear what's happening it's hard to get time for everything but little bit now and again it'll get sorted especially if the weather improves agree with Jacinta in that they grow up fast but in no time she'll be out helping in the garden.

Siobhan welcome back as you've no doubt found out kids have a way of using up all your spare time :-) The pot in the pic looks amazing how do you get it to stay sideways?   time to get out in the garden with a bouncer or buggy

Cecil Rhodes's dying words were 'so much to do... so little done'. It is a bit like your title, happy gardening Siobhan
