I hate this weather. There is so much to be done here, and it is so frustrating. I had to go and do housework, for a change.

It hasnt stopped raining since 8.00am. Its now almost 2.00. and still raining. But there seems to be a break in the clouds. Just spent the last hour or so sowing seeds in the greenhouse. I sowed sunflower 'evening sun'. This should have different tones of red and brown and grow roughly to 2m. Sunflowers are one of my favourite annuals.

I also sowed spinach beet (perpetual spinach) I bought these seeds in Aldi nearly 2 yrs ago, so we'll see what happens!

I sowed sweetcorn (F1 Sundance). Only sowed 6 seeds. Wouldnt have much demand for corn here in this house. And I have to think where they will eventually be planted. Usually corn is planted in groups rather than rows. I love corn. Can't wait for them to be edible.

And last, but not least, I sowed hanging basket tomatoes, ('Tumbling Tom' Yellow). I never sowed tumbler tomatoes before, so we'll see............ah the sun has just come out.

Great new photos. The glimpses of your garden are very pretty. Your frustration is palpable. I love sunflowers too. They grow like all seedlings should - fast and strong. I'm trying Russian Giant & Little Dorrit this year.
