Vacancy for Volunteer

5th November already. We should really be thinking about our Christmas get-together now. Where are we having it? Somewhere pretty much central to accommodate our Coastal friends who wouldn't normally be able to attend a get-together. When are we having it? You are probably all thinking to yourselves "She has lost the plot". But time has a habit of slipping by. Before we know it, Christmas will be upon us.

But most importantly, WHO is going to organize it?

The way I see it, Jacinta,

we all know you can use the computer,

you can use the phone,

and with your personality, people will flock to this get together.

GO FOR IT JACINTA your nominated..........

(you can change the journal heading to 'volunteer found')

Maybe it would be a start to suggest potential locations? In a recession, Garden Centres should make it attractive for us to hold our event at their centre.

I suggest Johnstown for a start.

Looks like you got yourself elected, Jacinta. I suppose you were pushing for that any way. I suggest Powerscourt Garden Pavilion. Plenty of indoor space if it is wet. Plenty of car parking, and a good selection of plants. Not too far away.

PCON somewhere nearer the far side of the city, or nearer the midlands would be better, to cater for folk travelling from accross the country.
