Euonymus alatus

I only bought this about 2 months ago. It has stunning Autumn foliage, but unfortunately it started to shed shortly after I got it. It's completely bare now. But looking at it more closely today I noticed its very unusual branches. They look a bit like the fletches on the end of an arrow.

Think you got that in Mount Venus, am I right?

No, I got it in Ratoath Garden Centre.

It's the first photo in my album 'Hallowe'en in Ratoath Garden Centre'. Take a look. It's lovely in full leaf.

I googled it and it does look great in the autumn.

I've got E.panipes which has glorious autumn colour.   Mine too, Jacinta, lost its leaves during a particularly windy week!!!!    I bought it a couple of years ago in Woodies reduced section.  This week in Castlebar they are selling all their bulbs with 75% off, named daffs and tulips, being a bargain!!

And nationwide, Sally. Woodies and Atlantic Homecare. Not that I need any more though.
