PJ Party!

Look what Santa brought for Steve (hee hee)
The day went magically smooth yesterday despite having the turkey and ham cooked WAY TOO soon. Steve's Mam and Dad were here for festivities, all had a brill day. Steve and I were racing around like headless chickens (sorry, turkeys!) sharing cooking responsibilities. Must say we made a good team. Up since 5.00am this morning. Internet went shortly after midday yesterday and has only come back 5 minutes ago. Don't know how Rachel managed having none for over 3 weeks. However, back on-line now. Didn't get ANYTHING garden-related for CHristmas, but I did get a book voucher and a voucher for a 'Nail and Beauty Bar'. So both will end up being used as a result of the garden. :) To be quite honest, if I had been presented with NOTHING, I wouldn't mind one bit. Santa didn't disappoint David on his first Christmas. And that is worth its' weight in gold.
Today is going to be a more relaxed affair. Not answering the door to anyone I don't know. Staying in PJ's and scrubbing my kitchen until it looks 'like a little dairy' (as my Mam would always say).
I am half tempted to start putting all the decorations away. I know that would probably horrify a lot of you out there. I was always impatient to get my tree up, then just as impatient to get it down. I don't think it has EVER been there till the 6th January. I just get in a hurry to have everything back to normal. But today, I will do nothing much. It will be a 'self-service' day.
Happy New Year!
