Daffs in the back garden

Daffs in the back garden

Nearly crashed the car this evening reversing in as I spied what I thought were my first open daffs. Not quite open, but definitely will be by tomorrow. A pot of fully open ones in the back garden though. Happy camper!

Shamrock has germinated well in time for St. Patrick's Day. Will investigate further tomorrow. Feeling a bit sorry for myself right now with a head cold coming on.

I too get very excited when the first daffs open!! Hopefully another day or two. One of the many pleasures of gardening, hhow bad?

Great to see, Jacinta. Mine are not at near that stage yet. I didn't know there was such thing as Shamrock seed available to buy!

Mine have heads but not open yet. This week I expect. Really makes it feel like spring

They are well advanced, no where near opening here yet.  Hope the cold isn't too bad Daffy :-)

Yours are further on than mine but lots of the Tete a Tete nearly there only one or two partially open today but if these temperatures continue the picture willl change everyday. Ones planted in the grass only beginning to send up leaves so long way to go.
