Bird Feeders

They have a good selection of birdfeeders in Aldi now. I bought these two on Saturday. The one on the left is for nuts. The one on the right is for mixed seed, great for small birds -  but this one is a bad design. You would need to fill this one up 5 times in one day as there is only room for a small amount of seed before it starts spilling out the holes.

I have found seed feeders to be like this generally. They seem to spill a lot of the seed.

I replaced my seed feeder this year with one that was so good at holding in the seed that the poor birds were frustrated! Had to move it to a better location so they could get at it a bit better! Last year's one was the opposite - once the first bird landed on it the seeds poured out on to the ground. Can't win!
