Peanuts!!!

Peanuts!!!

Bruno very kindly gave me this Melianthus major. It has been in the greenhouse since. Yesterday I watered everything in there and took a closer look at all inside Whenever I'm in there, I am immediately drawn to the Melianthus. I love it. Trying to decide now where I'm going to plant it once the weather improves. But I decided I'd let it have a short stint as a houseplant until then, as I'd go mad if I let it dry out and it died. But did anyone ever get a very pungent scent of Peanut Butter from it, and how come I never got this gorgeous scent before? I love it. Now I have peanut butter on my shopping list for today. Haven't had it in years!

It looks lovely Jacinta and I'm sure it will respond well to your care.  So that's another plant going on my wish list :-)

It's been on my wish list for some time, even before I heard about the peanuts.  I've never seen it in garden centres though

Anne, The Bay Garden in Camolin is where I got mine last year. I saw some in Woodies also, not great ones though.
