.......so decided to invite Dad out for something to eat. It turned out to be an 'ok' day, and when we got back, I uprooted a few of my Ophiopogon nigerescens that had self-seeded in the Alpine Circle. A few to give away if anyone is interested.
Did a small bit of weeding, and watered and fed stuff in the greenhouse.
It amused me to watch last years Tigridia in full swing first thing this morning, and almost 'nothing' to show by 6.00 this evening. Still, it was a welcome surprise to have them come back again this year after the mild winter. I think that's a first here.
Afterwards, I figured it was time to make the most of Steve's last day off for the long weekend. So we were lucky to be able to enjoy the sun, with refreshments, on the patio until about an hour ago. Rain has started again. But a good day altogether.
